Brotman Medical Center (BMC) is a hospital in Culver City, California, USA.
History
The hospital was founded in 1924 by David M. Brotman. On September 1, 2005, Brotman Medical Center changed owners. The new owners are a group led by Prospect Medical Holdings, Inc., operating as Southern California Medical Center.
Brotman Medical Center filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in 2007. It emerged in 2009.
Notable employees
- Tom Araya, bassist and vocalist for the American thrash metal band Slayer worked at Brotman as a respiratory therapist in the early 1980's.
